An hour at Petite France, Gapyeong – South Korea

“A Unique French Theme Park in Korea” Petite France, a small French culture village in Korea,
is a space where children can develop their dreams and a fairyland reminding grownups with children of the innocence of childhood.

The village contains a memorial hall dedicated to Saint-Exupery, the author of the celebrated French novel, Le Petit Prince (1943) and as such it is called the Little Prince theme park. It also has a gallery displaying sculptures and paintings of le coq gaulois (the Gallic rooster), the national symbol of France; Orgel House where a 200-year-old music box plays a sweet melody; a shop that sells herbal and aromatic products; a souvenir shop; and many other locales where you can experience French culture. It’s my very first time visiting this site and we’re only given approx 1 hour to explore and taking picture since i’m traveling with tour this time and the schedule quite packed (we need to move to nami island afterwards and long way to go to sokcho area).

But still considered a blessing, because we got the sunny bright weather today and not too crowded eventhough still not exploring that much. So here i presents some pictures i took.

Cannot deny the fact that every place have their instagrammable spot to take. loving all the colors, buildings, walls, everything! <3

Oh and if you’re a kdrama lovers, here also been a shooting site for TV drama ‘Beethoven Virus’, ‘Secret Garden’ and ‘My Love from the Star’ (Secret Garden was my fav! You should watch it too if you haven’t >.<)
