“Dining with The Star” – PASOLA, RITZ CARLTON PACIFIC PLACE JAKARTA

Hello people! After coming back for my short holiday trip, it’s time to get back to town and close this October with “Dining With The Stars”! So this is an exclusive program created by Meat and Livestock Australia (MLA) through its brand, True Aussie Beef & Lamb. Starring 4 Chefs from the 5* hotels in Jakarta, MLA presents a wide array of Australian beef and lamb dishes that can be enjoyed in each hotel during October-December 2018. This program is also a collaboration with PT Bank Danamon Indonesia, where cardholders can get 50% discount for selected dishes. PASOLA always gave their best to bring the Indonesian cuisines wrapped beautifully in an international way. Beef Rendang Arancini is one of their signatures here, is a rendang beef in fried risotto balls (in this case, they use rice instead of risotto).
Beef Tongue Balado served with crackers and red rice. And the best appetizer of the day, Lobster Spring Roll! You really can taste the soft lobster inside!

Beef Tenderloin Australian Angus

Today’s main star, Beef Tenderloin Australian Angus. Gorgeously medium-cooked with beetroot anise kecap, turmeric caramelised shallot sauce, sambal potato bravas, and small chuncked fried potato. Soo gewwwd!

Colenak Ice Cream

I’ll give the Colenak Ice Cream the best dessert I’ve had so far (in my life) because of the uniqueness, beautiful presentation and beyond expectation great taste in everything!
Thankyou for making me in awe again chef!

In case you didn’t know, Colenak; a roasted fermented cassava tapai served with kinca a sweet syrup made of grated coconut and liquid palm sugar. It’s actually my first time heard and trying this too!

Mas Deka, our food interpreter

This time we got our special food interpreter, Mas Deka. He was such a funny and cheerful person. Also can interpret each course really well to us. Thanks to Mas Deka who serves us really well from the start and make the dinner more comfortable. We enjoy it much! Please ask for him if you plan to have a dinner here, you won’t regret it! 😀
