Ubud Food Festival is back again this year. The event will held on 13-15 April 2018 in Ubud, Bali. Last week they had a pre-event in Nusa Gastronomy, Jakarta.
Founded in 2015, this is fourth year the event presented by ABC. Ubud Food Festival is an exciting culinary adventure with Indonesian Food as the star.
The 2018 theme is inspired by Indonesia’s young, tech-savvy population, who are driving the nation’s booming innovation economy. Through the lens of “Generasi Inovasi”, the festival will celebrate innovative and sustainable ideas in Indonesia’s food industry, which are all creating a distinct food culture unique to the archipelago. Almost 100 chefs, restaurateurs, farmers, social entrepeneurs and outstanding innovators will descent on Bali this April for Ubud Food Festival.
Spanning three days of special events, cooking demos, food tours and talks, workshops and masterclasses, films, markets and more, the festival celebrates the vibrancy and diversity of Indonesia’s culinary landscape.
Bringing together 9000 people last year, along with more than 100 culinary icons from across Indonesia and the globe, the festival celebrates culinary heritage, fresh and innovative ideas, all areas of the dynamic, ever-evolving culinary industry, and tell the stories through food.
Above are some of 2018 guest speakers for “Generasi Inovasi”are sparkling with Michelin stars and other accolades. They join a strong contingent of innovative, award-winning Indonesian chefs and industry professionals who show the reason why the world should be paying attention to Indonesia’s incredible creativity and ingenuity, and of course the fantastic food.
