PASOLA, an international dining restaurant at Pacific Place, offers delectable arrays on the buffet for breakfast lunch and dinner with an a la carte option. But besides their usual dining package, they also held a private wine pairing dinner every two months! Sound interesting isn’t it? Well for me, it is!
PASOLA Restaurant at The Ritz-Carlton Jakarta, Pacific Place in collaboration with Henshin Restaurant at The Westin Jakarta presents ‘Chef‘s Table Series’, an exclusive wine pairing dinner on 5 September 2018 at PASOLA Restaurant. When arrived, you will be greeted by the house prepared free flow wine, cocktails, and canapés while the team preparing the dinner.
This time, the dinner was prepared and specially crafted by The Ritz-Carlton Jakarta, Pacific Place’s Executive Chef Sean Macdougall and Henshin’s Sous Chef Sandro Medrano Montero. The Chefs from both restaurants will be presenting their dishes, as Peruvian taste for Chef Sandro and International cuisines for Chef Sean Macdougall.
The private dinner held only for 40 people and most of them were regular from the Ritz Carlton Residences. The moment you sit, the chef will be giving some speech about the dishes then we’ll start the dinner immediately.

At last, to close the dinner and enjoying your last sip of wine with this Petite Fours.
Everything was great! From the first course until dessert. Can’t decide which is my fav because I like ’em all! The Peruvian taste, Tuna Girotonno and White Snapper Tiradito were so fresh and yummy. I like the Nikkei sauce too much I guess. Charred Wagyu Beef Cube Roll was big enough to fill my tummy and really melt in the mouth. The carrot taste amazing too! I really enjoyed every single thing here.
